ok list first !! some of these will be a little confusing, like names ive used if theres no official romanization, software listed if there are multiple which could apply, and date ive chosen. for dates, ive tried to prioritize character birthdays first, then release dates. this gets a little confusing when characters are revealed before vb release, so ive only used character reveals when i feel like it applies ? like if the character has an estabished presence outside of the vb, or was specifically said to originate on a certain date from an offical source. another issuse is that some dates are kind of +/- 1, due to what i assume is time zones. some dates on like piapro or pixiv are a day early than those listed on wikis and dbs. for this, ive mostly went with wiki dates i guess ? unless i felt the previous one was better, or if i came across the not-wiki one first, or if more places use that one, or actually its kind of a mystery as to how i decided which one to use,, i really should have stuck to just either one or the other looking back on it, forgive me,, with all of that in mind, some of the character birthdays listed here are not vb anniversaries, whihc seemingly is what a lot more people celebrate due to them being actual annual milestones. all in all, if a different person undertook this task im sure our dates would differ. i thought getting releases or character birthdays would be straightforward, like it sounds simple, but alas, i was mistaken.
oh also, "utau overseas" isnt a different software, its just utau. i just wrote that for a few of them as they were difficult to look up when i just wrote utau and i needed a little reminder

ok i know i havent posted in a while, but im not gone,, im in the process of catchingup with the birthdays i have missed so expect those sometime,

also, i feel like this goes without saying, but i use the fan ran wikis and dbs a lot for my posts. an extremely large portion of the primary sources for vocal synths shit is in languages i dont know in the slightest, so being able to reference these sites is a huge help. they all have their ups and downs, but at the end of the day theyre all ran by people like me who just really like vocal syths, and they spend a lot of time putting together all the informatoin they can for them, and i have a huge respect for taht. while some of them, especailly the wikias, have issues, thyre good starting off points regardless. its inevitable that therell be problems with fan ran things like that, but for the most its all done in good faith i think. sometimes the informaotin on them will just be wrong, even contradicted by the sources they use, or their sources will be long gone and unarchived tweets, or theyll just be missing out information, or missing mention of entire sytnhs, or missing links and sources, or the articles will have writers notes written in them to please stop vandalizing the page please, but for the most part i really feel that they are fine. i know some people who work on maintaining and writing for these sites and they put a lot of hard work into it, so i dontthink these should be discredited. i really dont want to make it sound like if im shtting on these things, because i really dont mean to be. theyre extremely useful and i love them and the communities that work on them, but i did want to say i recognise the issues within them,, when i have time i always try to check out the primary sources but often theyre gone, or i dont have time, or the internet archive is not loading, or theres a storm and my wifi is shit, so i use these fan ran sites a lot. idk its weird for me to not have black and white opinions on this as i usually do, for worse and for worse LMAO, so im worried im not coming across quite in the way that i want to grrrrrr.
tldr shout out to wikis and dbs writers ig !! they certainly have their flaws but theyre very useful and important anyway,,

i am sickk and i dont have the strenghth to post like 8 different utaus today,, i hoped id be able to because i had to take the day off school but that did not work and im just suffering and hurting the whole day
